Once a JSON schema is assigned to the current JSON document, the JSON Schema Info window shows additional information for the current selection:
The Schema Info shows various details about the current property:
The type of the current property.
A list of enumeration values if available.
Additional information of the current format like the current pattern.
The "Show definition" button jumps to the definition in the assigne JSON schema document. The side-by-side view (Menu command "View | Split editor window) for two open documents next to each other can be especially useful together with this functionality.
