JSON batch processing from the command-line

There are only a few simple steps necessary to create a batch task for the command-line tool:

  1. Open JSONBuddy to create a batch configuration with the easy to use dialog interface.
  2. Save the batch configuration as settings XML.
  3. Run the JSON validator from the command-line tool with the settings XML as parameter.
  4. A log file is written while the process is running.

The JSON Schema standard is used to describe any data format for JSON in a similar way XML XSD is used for XML. Together with the mature batch functionalities of JSONBuddy, JSON type definitions are an important technology for automated testing of JSON.
